Does kombucha replace a probiotic?
The best way to get probiotics is through fermented foods and drinks. Our Kc Kombucha is naturally fermented and contains probiotics. The probiotics in kombucha will be different from the probiotics that you find in fermented vegetables like sauerkraut, or other drinks like kefir. Therefore, it is recommended to eat and drink a variety of fermented foods in your diet, and if you do this, then you should not need a probiotic supplement. However, sometimes, you may need other specific strains which you are not getting through eating a variety of fermented food and drinks. Each person is unique, so it is different for everyone.
